By Dr. David Jeremiah

Dr. David Jeremiah, is the founder and host of Turning Point Radio, sought-after speaker  and  New York Times Bestselling Author. He has won numerous awards.  He is a true man of God.

The Book of Acts is part of the A.D. The Bible Continues NBC miniseries that airs on Sunday. The book is about the first followers of Jesus.  It is a very easy to read with the New Living Translation.

The Introduction and the Prologue gives you the last days of Christ. The Gospel of Luke the story of crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. The Book of Acts has twenty eight chapters in the bible.  Dr Jeremiah, The Book of Acts goes through each of the 28 chapter in a way that is easy to read.  The followers of Christ went though ups and down while delivering the Good News. The Holy Spirit was always there to give them the courage to keep pushing the message of Christ. The Book of Acts gives you a biography of 20 key players.  It gives you their Strengths and Accomplishments, Lessons from their Life, Vital Statistics and Weaknesses and Mistakes. The book also has color photos that are from the television miniseries.

I enjoyed this book.  Dr David Jeremiah really made the Book of Acts easy to understand.  The biographies of each player was my favorite.

This book was provided to me free from the publisher through the  Tyndale review blogger program. I was not required to write a positive review and, the opinions I have expressed are my own.
